DIE METAL SOUL FIGHT

Die Metal Soul Fight was foundet in 1996 as an project of Hjalmar Andräjkson, Magnus Lehtinen and Tjorba Hanmersen. They wanted to resurrect the sound of the early Black Metal, which was made in their neighbour country Norway. They thought a long time about the name and finally they called themselve Die Metal Soul Fight, because they wanted to create Metal with the help of their dark Souls, they would Die for this and Fight for this Dream.

They began to rehearse in Lehtinens garage. The first trials were so bad that they wanted to cancel the project. But their dark souls were strong and powerfull so they continued! It took a long time until the recorded their first song "Crush the Pantheism", because none of them had any experience with instruments before. A long time they stayed in their small cave. Until the day when they were allowed to play at a metal festival called "Hate&Fear" in their hometown Nurmes.

From this moment on they were one of the most important underground black metal bands in the region and got known in large parts of Finland.

In the 1990th Magnus took part at the church combustions in Norway, but luckily he got a suspend sentence.

5 CDs were released till they broke up in 2005. Hjalmars wife and his children died in a car accident and after this he commited suicide. He and his family are still in our dark souls!

In 2010 they met Ilmar Söhngen. He told them he's a vocalist and would like to join Magnus and Tjorba. They agreed and DMSF was founded again.

In 2012 they are going to release a new album called "Creaping Death"
